Jocelyn Thibault played 14 seasons in the NHL as a goaltender, establishing a solid career as a member of six NHL teams (five franchises, considering Quebec/Colorado).

Thibault was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1993 draft, and would play in net for them during 29 regular season games, beginning as a 19 year old. In that rookie season, Thibault was introduced to some of the world's best hockey talent. He put up an 8-13 record with an .892 save percentage and a 3.31 GAA. He would improve on those numbers.

In his third NHL campaign, begun with the Avalanche, but spent mostly with the Montreal Canadiens, Thibault would show strength in net, winning 26 games with a .907 save percentage and a 2.86 GAA. Certainly an improvement.

The remainder of Thibault's NHL career was spent with the Blackhawks, Penguins and Sabres. Through 586 regular season games spent with those teams, Thibault would win 238 games with a .904 save percentage and a very respectable 2.75 GAA.

He is currently 48th all-time in NHL regular season wins, and 33rd all-time in NHL shutouts.

Did you know...............that Colorado traded Thibault to Montreal as part of the Patrick Roy deal?
