Jamie McGinn, the left-shooting left winger out of Ontario, was drafted 36th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2006 NHL draft. 
McGinn saw his first ice-time in the NHL during the 2008-09 season, at age 20, when he would score 6 points in 35 regular season games. The following regular season saw McGinn increase his games played to 59 and his points to 13 (10 of which were goals).
