Michael Frolik, the left-shooting center out of Czechoslovakia, was drafted by the Florida Panthers with the 10th overall pick in the 2006 NHL draft. Frolik wasted no time establishing his offensive presence in the NHL. Breaking into the league during the 2008-09 season at age 20, Frolik would be on ice for almost all of the 
Panthers' regular season games, 79 in total. During those games, Frolik notched 45 points with a balanced 21 goals and 24 assists.Frolik's second season was also a formidable and balanced one. He put 21 pucks in the net and assisted on 22 goals in 2009-10.
