NHL Preseason: Atlanta Thrashers Release Eight Players From Training Camp

The Atlanta Thrashers have trimmed their training camp roster by eight players, leaving 38 remaining, including 22 forwards, 12 defensemen and four goaltenders. Forwards Angelo Esposito, Mochael Forney, Danick Paquette and Jared Ross as well as defensemen Paul Potsma and Mike Siklenka have all been assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
