Today’s prospect profile is on Barrie Colts forward, and Winnipeg Jets prospect, Ivan Telegin. My most recent prospect profile was on Leafs prospect Stuart Percy. Ivan Telegin Age – 20 Position – Right Wing / Center Height – 6′ 4″ Weight – 185 Acquired: Draft, Atlanta/Winnipeg – 101st overall (2010) OHL Team: Barrie Colts NHL Comparable(s) – Poor man’s Ilya Kovalchuk Strengths – Ivan Telegin’s biggest strength is undoubtedly his speed. He has an extremely explosive first three steps, and can skate away from pretty much every player in the OHL with ease. His strides are big, powerful and quick. In my opinion he’s the most explosive skater in the league. Telegin is also a very underrated goal scorer, and has no problems driving the net and going to the dirty
