I don’t have anything to add except this: Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy. The NHL should just shut up when it starts talking about player safety and eliminating dangerous, reckless plays. This was textbook, reckless boarding, and McDonagh could have broken his neck, and we still don’t know what his injuries are, though Brendan Shanahan in his explanation said the league has been told there were no significant injuries. That, of course, shouldn’t even be part of the equation. Wimpy.
