With the Chicago Blackhawks struggling to find consistency on the blueline this season, Nick Leddy has been quite a blessing for the defending Stanley Cup champs. Leddy was originally acquired in the deal that sent Cam Barker to the Minnesota Wild, a swap which also brought Kim Johnsson to the Blackhawks in their stretch run of 2009-2010. Johnsson hasn’t been seen since, and Barker has been nothing special for Minnesota. It didn’t start off too pretty for Leddy as a Blackhawk this season. After being an early surprise and starting opening night, Leddy had a few mistakes that may have cost Chicago a win in their first game of the season against the Colorado Avalanche. It was all uphill from there for Leddy. His play was much better in his other five games in his first stint with Chicago, which included his first career goal against the Buffalo Sabres. After spending November and December in Rockford and at World Juniors for Team USA, Leddy made his return to Chicago again...
