Montreal Canadiens right wing Erik Cole is not expected to face any further disciplinary action following his hit to the head of New Jersey Devils rookie defenseman Adam Larsson during Saturday's contest.
There was no hearing scheduled with NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan - thus leaving Cole with just the minor penalty he incurred for the hit.
Larsson was not seriously injured following the first-period hit. The Devils went on to post a 5-3 victory over the Canadiens.
