Clutterbuck did play following the collision, but not the entire game. Today, the Wild have released that Clutterbuck is suffering a charley horse injury. Wild enjoy an envious goaltending situation

ST. PAUL, Minn. Few teams have the 1-2 goaltending punch that the Minnesota Wild has. So, when starting goalie Niklas Backstrom left Friday's game against New Jersey with a "lower body injury," the Wild didn't miss a beat with backup Josh Harding between the pipes. Harding stopped all 22 shots he faced in the game's final two periods to help Minnesota preserve...

Wild G Backstrom suffers lower-body injury

G27 Flames at Oilers

Ryan Jones had a night to remember last night, as he was a major player in a big third period comeback for the Edmonton Oilers. Jones has 8 goals currently, tied for 53rd in the NHL. Richard Cloutier: Is This the Man Who Wrecked the Buffet?

The Edmonton Oilers won the game but lost in OT. How is that possible, you ask? They actually won the game several times, but their goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin can't stop a puck to save his life in a shootout. Last season the Oilers left a number of points on the table because their goaltending can't seal a deal in overtime. This season looks like more of the same. Matthieu...

Whitney knees Cal Clutterbuck.

This was a blatant knee on knee hit, there is no room in the game for this kind of crap and the NHL should throw the book at Ryan Whitney. There is no way you can defend this hit, and Ryan Whitney should be getting a call from Brendan Shanahan tomorrow morning.  Below is the screen shot of what Michael Russo had to say on the hit.
