The National Hockey League announced the Norris trophy finalists today, and Ducks defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky was not among them.
The three defenseman that have been chosen as finalists for the award are Shea Weber (NSH), Zdeno Chara (BOS) and Nicklas Lidstrom (DET).
Just before the regular season ended I made a case for why Visnovsky should win Norris, so I must say I am surprised that he is not even a finalist.
With that being said, all three of these defenseman are worthy candidates and I wish them the best of luck in their journey for the Stanley Cup, and Norris trophy.
