Taylor Hall already plays like a seasoned veteran and very well could have been your Calder winner last year if he didn’t go down to injury. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is proving he belong in the NHL and once he fills out some more he’ll be an even stronger player. Add in Jordan Eberle and Magnus Paajarvi and you’ve got a bevy of young talent.

TRH Recap 12: Lubed Up
I wouldn't say that the Edmonton Oilers are a young team... but on Thursday night, a few of the players were acting a little bit immature.
"Okay, your turn."
"Alright... Ryan Smyth is so old that his birth certificate says 'expired.'"
"Ha, good one Taylor!"
"Ryan Smyth is so old, that his home phone number is 1."

I Got Nothin'
If you're an Edmonton Oiler fan today is going to feel strange. We're running out of things to point at and laugh or fret over, and "the road" looks like it might not be the challenge we thought it would be for this edition of the Edmonton Oilers. G12 Oilers at Kings
In the early days of expansion, the city of angels pursued "name" hockey players just like New York City. Because of it, most of the early stars for the Los Angeles Kings were acquired for picks and prospects. It did not go well in the standings. Rogie Vachon was a helluva goalie, and Marcel Dionne (above photo) was an exceptional offensive talent. The universal draft was...

Oilers-Coyotes Preview
The Edmonton Oilers' offensive production has dipped slightly from the last two seasons when the club finished at the bottom of the NHL standings.
But with the league's top goaltending, Edmonton is among the NHL's best teams so far and off to its quickest start in 25 years.
