Edmonton Oilers center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is proving he was worthy of being the top overall pick in this year's draft. Nugent-Hopkins was named the NHL's rookie of the month for November, claiming the honor for the second time this season. The 18-year-old Nugent-Hopkins had six goals and 10 assists last month to become the first player to win rookie of the month honors in the first two months since Pittsburgh's Evgeni Malkin in 2006. Nugent-Hopkins beat out New Jersey's Adam Henrique, Nashville's Craig Smith and Buffalo's Jhonas Enroth for the monthly honor.
