Hearing Ales Hemsky re-signing is close. Apparently, money is not the debate at this point. The issue to be negotiated is term.
It looks like $5mil per season is the contract amount. The debate is between two or three seasons. Oilers want two, Hemsky camp wants three or longer. This being said, Hemsky's position on term is more flexible now, as he wants to remain in Edmonton...
