It's safe to say that Teemu Selanne will get the biggest cheers during the Anaheim Ducks' home finale Sunday night.
Selanne has not yet committed to returning for the 2012-13 season as he takes the ice at home for the final time this season when the Ducks meet the Edmonton Oilers.
The veteran winger will turn 42 in July but continues to be productive, leading Anaheim (33-34-11) with 64 points. He has not yet decided whether he wants to come back for an eighth season with the Ducks and 20th overall.
Selanne and the Ducks, who have captured their regular-season home finales in each of the last four seasons, will try to bounce back after coming up empty on 44 shots against Mike Smith in Saturday's 4-0 loss at Phoenix. Anaheim went 0 for 6 on the power play.
"It was one of those nights where we weren't going to beat that guy,'' coach Bruce Boudreau said. "When Bobby Ryan beats him and hits (Phoenix's) Boyd Gordon in the back of the head and it b...

Teemu Selanne scored a goal in perhaps his final home game in Anaheim.
Selanne was actually outdone by another Teemu (Hartikainen), who tallied twice to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 victory over the Ducks on Sunday.
Anaheim cut its two-goal disavantage in half with less than six minutes remaining in the first period when Selanne converted a pass from the bottom of the left...
As hockey fans most of us have also have love of a particular AWARD WINNING EA Sports Franchise. This year, the boys and girls in charge of the NHL series we all are addicted to have taken a page out of the Madden NFL playbook and are enlisting the fans to elect their cover athlete!
As some of you know, I’m a diehard Blackhawks fan, but seeing as the ‘Hawks can boast the...
Oilers beat Ducks (no April fools joke) 2-1
Three first period goals and all scored by a Teemu, this was an NHL first in what may have been Teemu Selanne’s last home game as a member of the Anaheim Ducks. While fans filled the lower bowl with signs asking for one more year, Selanne remained mum on the subject.

Imagine growing up in Southern California; the land of sun, surf and hockey. Anaheim Ducks prospect Emerson Etem is the latest name to be added to an ever-increasing list of players from the United States’ left coast.

Fan Appreciation Night at the Honda Center and the final home game of the year in Anaheim. Possibly the final home game of Teemu Selanne's illustrious career. Clearly the Edmonton Oilers did not get the memo and spoiled any chance of Anaheim finishing off the season at home on a high note by earning a 2-1 victory over the Ducks. There did seem to be a memo stating that...
We do this a bit differently as it is the final week. There is no sense in looking back at last week. It is time to go six days and determine some champions. That is why our video today has a little extra Finnish to it. Here is Teemu Selanne, a fantasy hockey marvel past the age of 40. The NHL has a few of these wonders and its amazing to see how they just...
