Oilers sign Strduwick, Petiot

The Edmonton Oilers have announced the signing of defensemen Jason Strudwick and Richard Petiot.Strudwick is a player we know, 3rd pairing-7D who can also play LW. He is (from all reports) an excellent teammate and mentor to the kids. This would seem to be the major reason he's back with the team. If he plays 50 or more games, it means a lot of injuries and or failures by other defensemen.HN gives a nice look at Petiot here.
