The game hadn’t even started on Wednesday night and Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price was already writhing on the ice in obvious discomfort. During warmups prior to Montreal’s game against the Boston Bruins and in a case of friendly fire, a wicked wrist shot from teammate — his teammate! — Lars Eller ate Price up and ended up hitting him right in the crotchal region. Yamma hamma. I guess you could say that for allowing his teammates to warm up against him, Carey paid a hefty “Price.” But actually bringing that weaksauce of a line makes one deserving of their own shot to the crotch, though. So keep that in mind. While a “shaken” Price did leave the ice and head back to the dressing room before the puck was dropped, presumably to have a cup re-fitted or sit on a bag of ice for a few minutes. Although he did show some testicular fortitude by returning and playing the entire game. Price did, however, slam the bench door on his way off the ice, either because he was so irritated by getting hit in the nuts by a puck or…yeah, he was probably upset about getting hit in the nuts. For the record, Price was stellar through the first two periods against the Bruins and finished with 20 saves on the game, but allowed two goals in the third period as the Habs lost by a score of 2-1. Insult to injury, indeed. TweetThe post Ow my balls! Habs goalie Carey Price hit in crotch by puck during warmups (video) appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
