Fox Sports Detroit:
DETROIT -- He was a member of three Stanley Cup teams in Detroit and finished with 401 career victories, 10th overall in the NHL.
His 317 victories with the Red Wings is second only to Terry Sawchuk's 352.
His career save percentage (.905) and goals-against average (2.49) were also solid.
All might eventually add up to a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame for Chris Osgood, who retired last summer after 17 NHL seasons, 14 with the Red Wings, and currently works as a goalie coach in Detroit.
But the Hall of Fame isn't the ultimate exclamation point for Osgood when it comes to his playing career. He wants more than anything to see his No. 30 retired and raised to the Joe Louis Arena rafters.
"That would mean more to me than the Hall of Fame," Ogsood, 39, said during a one-hour interview with FOXSportsDetroit.com's Art Regner on Thursday.
