Kris Versteeg scored two goals and added an assist for the Florida Panthers, who snapped an eight-game, road-losing streak with a 4-3 shootout win over the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night.
Mikael Samuelsson scored the Panthers' winning goal of the shootout, which used 14 skaters. Mike Santorelli also scored in regulation for Florida (22-15-10), which also ended a four-game skid.
Winnipeg (22-20-6) got two goals from Nik Antropov, Alexander Burmistrov added one, and Kyle Wellwood had two assists.
Scott Clemmensen stopped 41 shots for the win. Winnipeg's Ondrej Pavelec made 23 saves.
Versteeg opened the scoring at 5:40 of the first period with a high backhand that went past Pavelec. It was Versteeg's team-leading 18th goal, but first in 10 games. He had gone four games without a point.
Santorelli's goal was reviewed, but stood as his sixth of the season with 16 seconds left in the first period.
