The Florida Panthers signed defenseman Tyson Strachan to a one-year contract extension on Wednesday.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.The 27-year-old has one goal and two assists in eight games, while averaging more than 15 minutes of ice time per game for the Panthers this season.Strachan previously played 67 games for the St. Louis Blues from 2008-2011.
