First off, credit where it's due: The Philadelphia Flyers unveiled their 2010 Winter Classic jerseys today at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J., by having Danny Briere(notes), Ian Laperriere(notes) and Braydon Coburn(notes) fire pucks at a block of ice containing the jersey until it shattered. That. Is. Awesome. Pretty much the only way you can make that cooler is by borrowing Al MacInnis from the Blues and having him do it with one slapper from the blue line. The Flyers will wear these "retro" jersey when they take on the Boston Bruins at Fenway Park on Jan. 1. (Without the blue jeans, we assume.)
