Reliving the magic of Game 7 against Toronto really doesn’t get old, and the players proved that holds true for them as well, walking us through Patrice Bergeron‘s overtime goal. Trailing by three goals in the third period, the Bruins went on to score four unanswered goals, stunning Toronto and sending Boston into an absolute frenzy. Brad Marchand, Johnny Boychuk and Bergeron sat down prior to meeting the Maple Leafs for the first time since all of the drama, to relive Bergy’s game-winning shot. The guys broke down the last play of the game, all praising each other in the process, and the three of them agreed that they mostly felt a sense of relief after Bergeron lit the lamp, realizing that they were dangerously close to seeing their season end. Check out the players’ breakdown in the above video.Filed under: Big Bad Bruins Live, Boston Bruins, Boston Bruins Video, NESN Video, Top Stories, Video

Brad Marchand Gets Monkey Off His Back, Sparks Bruins in Much-Needed Win Over Florida

BOSTON — Brad Marchand is no stranger to the monkey. The monkey follows him sometimes, as it does most streaky goal scorers. And that damn (dirty?) monkey has a way of coming out to play at the most inopportune times. Much of the conversation in the Bruins dressing room Thursday night, especially around Marchand’s stall, centered around that annoying little primate. The monkey...

Breakthrough Marchand, and B's, are looking for

All it took was one pretty good game to underscore just how valuable Brad Marchand is to the Bruins when he’s mentally, physically and emotionally invested into what’s going on around him. All three parts were on display in the 4-1 victory over the moribund Florida Panthers at TD Garden on Thursday night. It showed how free and easy things can be for the B’s agitator when...
