Denver Post:
The torso injury to Avalanche center Paul Stastny does not appear to be serious. In fact, Stastny will accompany the team on its flight today to Vancouver, British Columbia, and is listed as day-to-day for its three-game road swing through Western Canada starting with Tuesday's contest against the Canucks.

I’m off to Vancouver tomorrow morning so I’m not going to spend a ton of time on this post-game wrap. The main points:
– Center Paul Stastny suffered what the team is calling a torso injury. I didn’t see him go down, but it was in the third period. Stastny, who scored a power-play goal to give the Avs a 2-1 lead, played 15:41, with two shots. Adrian Dater...

Team MVP leads Avs to win.
The Colorado Avalanche faced off against the Amway Detroit Red Wings for the third time this season after being outscored 8-2 in the first two games. It's hard to remain hot in 14 degree weather.
On one of the coldest nights of the year, the Colorado Avalanche cooled down the 7-game winning Detroit Red Wings with a 4-2 win.
T.J. Galiardi scored the game winning short-handed goal with ten minutes remaining in the third period to push the Avs to victory.
