After tying the game with an “own goal,” Jeff Petry wasn’t done letting his team down.  In overtime against the Detroit Red Wings, Petry was turned completely inside out by Pavel Datsyuk.  After doing so, Datsyuk fired a beautiful shot short-side high blocker past Devan Dubnyk.  The “Datsyukian” goal against the Edmonton Oilers broke Datsyuk’s 11 game goalless streak and gave the Red Wings a much needed win.  Not to be lost on the play was Johan Franzen’s excellent display of patience, who bought some time in the neutral zone so he could get the puck to the streaking Datsyuk.  Datsyuk is truly magical with the puck and if you don’t believe me, just ask Siri. Datsyuk is Russian for filth — John Buccigross (@Buccigross) March 16, 2013 [NHL.com]
