A youth hockey coach from Vancouver was arrested last year for intentionally tripping an opposing player during postgame handshakes. Martin Tremblay pleaded guilty to one count of assault last November for the following incident: The idiotic decision resulted in two players, one 10-year-old and one 13-year-old, falling to the ice and immediately prompted legal action.  Today Tremblay was sentenced to 15 days in prison for his actions. “The tripping of the boys was akin to a cowardly sucker punch on an unsuspecting victim,” said Richmond provincial court Judge Patrick Chen. Tremblay joins the baby-wielding now-infamous heckling father as two of many parents or coaches reliving their apparently broken hockey childhood. [ESPN]   Article found on: Cosby Sweaters
