Nashville Predators' goalie Pekka Rinne is the next National Hockey League player to go to to the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia. Rinne's agent Jay Grossman of "Puck Agency" tweeted out on his Twitter page Tuesday morning, "Pekka Rinne will re-join former Karpat goalie coach Ari Hilli with Dinamo Minsk."

While playing for Dinamo in Minsk, Belarus, Rinne will be able to work with Ari Hilli, his former goalie coach with Karpat in the Finnish Elite League.

From watching Dinamo take on SKA St. Petersburg a week ago, there is an excellent crowd and stadium with 15,000. They may not have a flashy lineup, and they don't, but they get the job done. There is only one familiar face fans may know, and that is Tim Stapleton, former Winnepeg Jets forward.

Everyone could have seen this coming. Rinne told Joshua Cooper of The Tennessean earlier this month that he would rather be playing real games rather than just practice.

There is no need to worry Nashville Predators fans because it isn't a similar situation to Alexander Radulov. Pekka Rinne is only playing in the KHL until the lockout is over.
