From the Penguins: PITTSBURGH – Eight former Pittsburgh Penguins coaches will join current coach Dan Bylsma as featured guests at the 12th Annual Penguins Alumni Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, August 18 at Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray, PA. More than 30 former players, coaches and general managers will be on hand as the Penguins Alumni Association will pay tribute to head coaches throughout the team’s history.  The event raises funds for local children’s charities. Former coaches traveling to Pittsburgh for the event include first-ever Penguins head coach Red Sullivan (1967-69), Ken Schinkel (1973-74; 1976-77), Ed Johnston (1980-83; 1993-97), Bob Berry (1984-87), Pierre Creamer (1987-88), Gene Ubriaco (1988-89), Kevin Constantine (1997-99) and Rick Kehoe (2001-03).  Proceeds from the event will benefit Achieva, the Mario Lemieux Foundation and Western PA School for the Deaf.  Over the past 11 years, the event has donated over $270,000 to charity.
