Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang returned to practice Tuesday, a major step forward in his recovery from concussion symptoms.Letang hasn't played since taking an elbow to the head from Montreal's Max Pacioretty late in a 4-3 victory over the Canadiens back on Nov. 26.The Penguins are 9-11-0 in his absence, slipping into eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.Letang is one of the top offensive defenseman in the league. The 24-year-old has three goals and 16 assists in 22 games this season.The Penguins say Letang likely won't suit up over the next several days, but they're hopeful he'll return before the All-Star break beginning next Thursday.
