via Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Chris Kunitz said last week he wanted to retire as a Penguin, and he may get that chance. He has signed a two-year contract extension that will extend through the 2012-13 season. His cap hit will be $3.725 million, matching the average annual salary from his current contract.
