One of the most snake-bitten teams in the NHL has been hit by another key injury, as defenseman Zbynek Michalek will be lost for up to six weeks with a broken finger.Michalek left in the third period of Saturday's 4-1 home victory over the New Jersey Devils after blocking a shot with his hand. He's expected to miss at least a month.It's the latest blow for a club that has been forced to do without its top two players for most of the season.Superstar center Sidney Crosby remains sidelined with a concussion, and his return date is unknown. Crosby hasn't seen NHL action since last January.Forward Evgeni Malkin is dealing with soreness in his surgically-repaired knee and has appeared in just three of the team's 10 games so far this season.Malkin is expected to accompany the team to Long Island for Tuesday's game against the New York Islanders, but it isn't known whether he will suit up.
