Pittsburgh Penguins forward James Neal will remain out for at least two more weeks, as reported by Joe Yerdon of NBC Sports. The 26-year-old winger was placed on injured reserve on October 15 with an upper-body injury. Neal has only played in one game this season, playing in the team’s season-opener against the New Jersey Devils on October 3. He started the day as a game-time decision and played for only 3:49 before leaving. The Penguins are doing just fine in the absence of Neal as they currently lead the Eastern Conference with 14 points. The team has only lost two games this season against the Florida Panthers and Colorado Avalanche. Neal has finished the last two seasons with 36 and 81 points in 40 and 80 games respectively. He finished second in goal-scoring on the team the last two seasons as well. When he returns, he should add some additional scoring to the team that is second in the league in goals for, behind only the San Jose Sharks.
