Columbus hasn’t fired anybody on the coaching or managerial staff yet, despite rampant speculation that change is imminent.
But the Blue Jackets did acquire Mark Letestu from Pittsburgh for a fourth-round pick. Letestu scored 14 goals last season while filling in at center, but he had no goals in 11 games this season.

When Mark Letestu first turned pro and went to Wilkes-Barre, he sucked, to put it nicely. He was on the fourth line with Dennis Bonvie and Paul Bissonnette as his wingers. Assistant coach at the time, Dan Bylsma, pulled the undrafted forward aside and injected some of his BYLSMAGIC into him. Letestu became an offensive force the following season with WB/S.
