As I’m sure all Kings fans recall, Dustin Penner’s little pancake mishap in early January that caused him to suffer from back spasms earned the left winger quite a bit of media attention. But don’t worry, for those of you who missed out on the delicious disaster, I have all the details for you right here. About a week after the incident, Penner announced he would host a charity breakfast event in light of the accident. Sure enough, he stuck to his word and this Monday, February 13, IHOP will be hosting “Pancakes with Penner” for 75 lucky fans who will get the chance to sit down with the accident-prone forward and enjoy a good meal. So here’s how it works… Go to lakings.com/pancakes. Purchase a prize pack (they start at $10 and include various souvenirs). Your purchase will automatically put your name in the drawing for “Pancakes with Penner” If you win, you’ll be going to IHOP, located at 8600 S. Sepulveda Blvd, on Monday m...

Kings Need Offensive Production

Pierre LeBrun of ESPN answers some email rants, Hi Pierre, my rant is with the Kings. How in the world are they not scoring more goals? One goal in the last two games, can’t anyone score in LA? Matthew Barry: Dean Lombardi Sticks His Foot in His Mouth Again

“The question about the rentals is just the price. If you look back, and you take all the deadline deals — just look at them and line them up — you’ve got all kinds of juice on deadline day, but how many of them have really effected the team? There’s this perception of all this juice and action, then you look at what really happens." - Dean Lombardi...

Matthew Barry: Should The Kings Go After Jeff Carter?

poll by twiigs.com Without a doubt, the package would START with Jonathan Bernier, a gamble in itself in that there's no guarantee that Jon Quick re-signs with the Kings. I imagine Columbus would also want the Kings 1st round pick plus another roster player like Voynov or more likely Loktionov. (plus they would have to take back Stoll to even out the salary structure) ...
