But he did block a rather hard shot with his foot in the second period, and played sparingly after that.It turns out that #17 broke that foot, according to x-rays, and is on crutches after receiving treatment from team doctors today.The 32-year-old Sykora played in 76 regular season games in 2008-09, with 25 goals, 21 assists, and 46 points. He played in four playoff games against the Flyers, two against the Capitals, none against the Hurricanes, and one against the Wings. He had only one assist, which came against Washington.Sykora's exit likely signals the return of Miroslav Satan, who sat out Game Six.
