Bleacher Report:
The Flyers have signed defenceman Marc-Andre Bourdon to a three-year entry-level contract on Friday, the terms of the contract were undisclosed as per team policy. However, according to CapGeek.com, his cap hit will be $712,500.
Bourdon, 19, split time with Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL last season. He combined for 18 goals and 42 assists for 60 points while racking up 112 penalty minutes.
The 6'0", 215-pound defenceman will have to improve his skating ability, and learn to play better in his own end, before he gets his chance to prove himself at the NHL-level. Bourdon will be playing for the Adirondack Phantoms this season, unless he shows an awful lot during training camp.
