Fineanchors.com NHL camps opened Sunday with the lockout-shortened regular season scheduled to start next Saturday, Jan. 19. During the extended off-season, Philadelphia Flyers’ left wing Scott Hartnell kept busy by growing a lockout beard, appearing in ‘This Is 40,’ and reportedly hanging out with NBC Philadelphia meteorologist — and total smokeshow — Sheena Parveen. According to Dan Gross at the Philadelphia Daily News: Flyers wing Scott Hartnell and NBC1O meteorologist Sheena Parveen had drinks together Wednesday night at the Irish Pub (20th & Walnut). Neither Hartnell or Parveen confirmed the sighting, but it’s the second time they have been seen out together in the off-season. Already a Philly fan favorite for his skilled play, toughness and his long, bushy hair, Hartnell may also be known as ‘The Man’ if he’s dating Parveen. Formerly at the Fox affiliate in Tampa, Parveen has been in the Philadelphia market for just a little more than a year. She’s already won over the city’s infamous fan base, which often doesn’t watch anything that’s not sports-related. Filed under: Chicks, Girls, Hockey, WAG
