Flyers Have Work To Do

Bill Meltzer: Meltzer's Musings: Jagr Alternatives, Carle, LTIR, Larsson

There is nothing new to report on whether the Flyers will re-sign Jaromir Jagr on July 1 or go in another direction for next season. Tim Panaccio: Carle A New Concern

A number of us around the Flyers were a little apprehensive in May and even this month when Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said more than one that he expected to re-sign Matt Carle and perhaps cash in on Carle's desire to remain here vs. accepting more money elsewhere. Unless you have already gotten that on paper, it's a dangerous thing to say. Most GMs would not...
