The Predators are relying on goaltender Pekka Rinne a bit too much once again in his career, which hasn't turned out really good in the playoffs. Maybe General Manager David Poile should make a move to help the scoring, but someone in the lineup should step up. Head coach Barry Trotz assigned Brian McGrattan to the Milwaukee Admirals for two week conditioning in the AHL. That leaves the Predators without an extra forward on hand, at the moment. For Nashville to win, they need to; 1) Score goals to help Rinne, 2) Hard on the forecheck to beat Phoenix at their own game and 3) Capitalize on the power play. Coyotes: After a slow start to the season, Phoenix has turned things around winning four of their last five games. Currently the Coyotes are on a three game road trip and have won two of the three. Thursday, they will look for a sweep on this road trip, which would benefit them greatly. Raffi Torres is now back on the ice since returning from a long suspension after a illegal hit on Chicago Blackhawks' Marian Hossa in the playoffs. Fans at Bridgestone Arena could see Torres bout with Rich Clune. Torres isn't a player many people like, but rather despise due to his cheap hits and dirty plays. Phoenix recalled defenseman David Rundbland and sent Michael Stone to the AHL. Rundblad may be dressing Thursday night, but if not, Chris Summers will see third line ice time.
