Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that PIR will host a free ‘FanFest’ with the newly crowned 2013 Daytona 500®, Jimmie Johnson on Thursday, February 28 at Westgate Entertainment District. Johnson will also be on-ice during the Phoenix Coyotes vs. Minnesota Wild game that evening to drop the ceremonial first puck.  Fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Johnson when he takes the stage for a live Q&A session in Westgate’s Water Dance Plaza. Special appearances by PIR President Bryan R. Sperber, SUBWAY spokesman Jared and Miss Sprint Cup will be a part of the evening’s presentation, which is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. In addition to the live appearances, the Water Dance Plaza will be transformed into a racing fan fest that includes a live band, interactive racing displays and NASCAR show cars.
