Vancouver Canucks (5-3-0) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (6-1-0) Root Sports, NHLN-US, SNET-P - 1:00 pm/et  Consol Energy Center - Pittsburgh, PA John Tortorella and the Canucks head into Pittsburgh for an afternoon game. John Tortorella is a huge fan of the Penguins. The Canucks are probably the Penguins' toughest opponent yet this season, so it will be interesting to see how the Pens fare against a team with a winning record. Oh yeah, Chris Conner is back in the NHL with the Penguins. Yeah, that Chris Conner.  STATS, INFO & NOTES: Leading Scorers: Penguins: Sidney Crosby (6G, 8A: 13P) Canucks: Henrik Sedin (1G, 9A: 10P) Starting Goaltenders: Penguins: Marc-Andre Fleury (6-0-0, 1.67 GAA, .932 Sv%) Canucks: Roberto Luongo (4-3-0, 2.42 GAA, .912 Sv%) Last Games: Penguins: Defeated Philadelphia Flyers 4-1. Canucks: Defeated Buffalo Sabres 3-0. Previews from Team Websites:  [Penguins] [Canucks] Opposition Blog: [Nucks Misconduct] What They're Saying: "Canucks At Penguins Preview: Slaughtered" OK, so the Sabres and Flyers suck. We beat them both. Fruition. Now comes a magnificent test for our beloved Canucks as they take on the Eastern Conference-leading Penguins. Look at the stat table above. The only real **** stat for the Penguins is their penalty kill. So...using mass scientific evidence through hours and hours of studying....this game will be mostly about special teams. The Canucks will not want to be a step or 3 behind the Pens to start this one. If they take penalties they are likely to get burned. If they can out-hustle ********** and draw penalties early...well then they had better start scoring on their 29th overall-ranked power play. Jeez! Not exactly confidence-inspiring. What Happened Last Time: October 6, 2011 - Pens won 4-3. [Our Recap] One of the better season-openers in a while. The Pens never trailed, but they did let Vancouver sneak their way back into the game. We saw some things we were used to seeing, and we saw some new things. Mike James P. Sullivan is the real deal. Unrealistic chemistry between the Neal-Malkin-Sullivan line. Matt Cooke. Wow. MAF was brilliant in the waning moments and in OT. There aren't too many teams that have a Sedin-like line, so holding that line to only a goal is good. All in all, a good win. Points come tough on the west coast swings. Pens turn around and play Calgary on Saturday night. Hopefully Twitter doesn't break again. Luongo sucks. Penguins Player(s) to Watch: Marc-Andre Fleury. The Canucks are better offensively than anyone the Pens have played yet this year. Can Fleury continue to shine?  Canucks Player(s) to Watch: Henrik Sedin & Daniel Sedin. They're no longer playing on the same line. Gif that Seems Appropriate for Today's Game:  Pittsburgh Penguins lines from Daily Faceoff: Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis Jussi Jokinen - Evgeni Malkin - Chuck Kobasew Tanner Glass - Brandon Sutter - Craig Adams Harry Zolnierczyk - Joe Vitale - Chris Conner   Brooks Orpik - Paul Martin Rob Scuderi - Matt Niskanen Olli Maatta - Robert Bortuzzo   Marc-Andre Fleury Vancouver Canucks lines from Daily Faceoff: Chris Higgins - Henrik Sedin - Ryan Kesler Daniel Sedin - Mike Santorelli - Jannik Hansen David Booth - Jordan Schroder - Zack Kassian Tom Sestito - Brad Richardson - Dale Weise   Jason Garrison - Kevin Bieksa Dan Hamhuis - Chris Tanev Ryan Stanton - Yannick Weber   Roberto Luongo
