Here’s a column I wrote for The Journal News and LoHud.com yesterday:

Claude Julien Pleased With Bruins' Effort Despite Overtime Loss to Rangers
It won't make the loss sting any less, but head coach Claude Julien was pleased with the Bruins' effort against the Rangers on Saturday. Julien felt that his team battled hard throughout, and had an opportunity to come away with a victory. Unfortunately for Julien's bunch, Marian Gaborik netted a game-winner with just seconds remaining in the extra period. The Bruins...

Marian Gaborik scored his second goal of the game on a power play with 3.6 seconds left in overtime, lifting the New York Rangers over the Boston Bruins, 3-2, on Saturday. Jaromir Jagr Served as Rangers Captain Between Mark Messier and Chris Drury
Ryan Callahan serves as the Rangers' captain nowadays, and by donning the "C," he joins a very elite group. Prior to Callahan, it was Chris Drury who held the role, starting in 2008. Drury decided to hang up the skates, though, which paved the way for the 26-year-old Callahan to take over. Perhaps the most recognizable captain in Rangers history is Mark Messier, who...
