  1. The big story of the last 24 hours was realignment. Here is a variety of posts from Nashville about the new line-up... Ryan Porth, Robby Stanley, Paul McCann, Dirk Hoag, Fang Faction, and the Tennessean.
  2. A ticket tax is being considered to fund Bridgestone Arena renovations and have the patrons fund the projects, much like what is happening at LP Field.
  3. Jim Diamond has a nice feature story on Brian McGrattan's anniversary of being clean and sober. Josh Cooper spoke with him about his thoughts on the excellent three part series on Derek Boogaard in the New York Times.
  4. Ryan Porth looks at the upcoming stretch of home games as an opportunity for the Preds to get back on track  Likewise, he talked to Pekka Rinne who is staying positive.
  5. The Nashville Predators Regional TV network led the NHL in growth of ratings so far this season.
  6. Teams are being announced for the World Juniors that start on Boxing Day and a pair of Predators have made the preliminary squads so far. Austin Watson (USA) and Miikka Salomaki (Finland) will be on the international stage with a chance to impress.
  7. Today's look at the year 2002 at Bridgestone Arena features an interview with Phil Bredesen who can claim much of the credit for the foresight to build the Arena in the mid nineties when he was Nashville's mayor.
