The Washington Capitals were on ice Tuesday morning for a practice as they prepare to try and right the ship against the Conference-leading Rangers on Wednesday night.  Some updates from Kettler Capitals Iceplex: Mathieu Perreault, who left Monday night's game against the Sabres because of an upper-body injury and stayed in Buffalo overnight for observation, returned to the practice ice on a line with Matt Hendricks, Mike Knuble, and Jay Beagle.  The other lines were changed up too: Ovechkin-Backstrom-Semin, Johansson-Halpern-Brouwer, and Ward-Laich-Chimera. Mike Green participated in practice for the duration of the skate for the first time since sustaining his second groin injury.  Previously, Green had been leaving practice when drills began after skating before practice began and with his teammates on ice before drills began.  The defenseman saw time on the power play during the skate.  Afterwards, he indicated that he is feeling much better, but is still day to day.  He s...
