Photo Source:Christian Peterson, Getty Images Only two games to report on this week: a 5-4 shootout loss to Phoenix (who are on a real roll right now) and a 4-3 regulation win against Los Angeles. Both games were on the road - and the next five will be a well. The Predators had a fantastic first period against the Coyotes - going up 3-0 after 20. But they managed to blow that lead, and another one goal lead, before going 0/5 in a demoralizing shootout.  The game against LA was almost a similar story - with Nashville leading throughout most of the game but allowing the Kings to tie it mid-way through the third. Legwand got the GWG with only 4 minutes left on the clock.  Read the full player rankings below, and check out last weeks here. Player Position Rank Movement Short Description David Legwand C 1 0 Legwand contributed in 5 of the 8 goals in the last two games. Including scoring the game winner against LA on Saturday. A very very good week for Dave.  Patric Hornqvist RW 2 +1 Three assists against LA and a fourth against Phoenix. Hornqvist shows that when he isn't lighting the lamp, he can still be a good set up guy.  Shea Weber D 3 -1 Two Powerplay points - Weber has helped dig our powerplay out of the basement to a respectable 12th in the league (and still on the rise).  Seth Jones D 4 +1 Another week another pair of points for Seth Jones. He lead the team with a spectacular half hour of TOI in the OT game against Phoenix.  Eric Nystrom RW 5 +7 Nystrom had a goal in each game tying him for the team lead at 4. I don't think that's why we brought him on the team, but I don't see anyone complaining.  Mike Fisher C 6 0 Fisher may be injured yet again. He's been good when healthy, but I think he may be starting to feel old as he will miss time for the second injury of the season.  Nick Spaling LW 7 +4 Spaling remains in the line up and keeps chipping in on the scoresheet. He had the primary assist on the Paul Gaustad goal.  Craig Smith RW 8 -4 I was hoping he would continue his surge after his impressive point tallies last week. But he had no goals no assists and was minus 4 in two games. Not superb.  Colin Wilson RW 9 -2 Wilson's last point was October 20th against Winnipeg.  Paul Gaustad C 10 +4 A goal for Gaustad this week, his second on the year. I don't think you could ask for a better fourth liner. A cheaper one, yes. Matt Cullen C 11 -3 Again - a bad week for Cullen and his linemates. His production stifle has definitely affected Smith. I am wondering if the removal of Bourque caused chemistry issues - although I doubt it.  Roman Josi D 12 +11 Roman Josi is back! Cleared to play after a concussion injury, Josi is made a very appreciated return this week, solidifying the defense. He played on the second line with Klein and didn't look too out of form.  Mattias Ekholm D 13 +4 Ekholm is on a sneaky little point streak, with three assists in three days. Hard to say how solid his spot is in the lineup, but he's looking good for the time being.  Carter Hutton G 14 -4 Hutton didn't look good in either game this week. He let in a really weak goal against Phoenix (but looked great in the shootout) and had a few others sneak past him and nearly in. He plays the Jets on Friday - and he does like playing the Jets. Ryan Ellis D 15 0 Ellis is playing fine. He's on the third D-line and is still developing. I do hope this season in a sign of things to come with him.  Kevin Klein D 16 0 Perhaps Klein will improve with the addition of a more skilled partner. Klein and Josi spent some time together last year and looked like a pretty nifty pairing. Matt Hendricks RW 17 +3 Hendricks had a really sick snipe against Phoenix but then got injured and is listed as day-day.  Gabriel Bourque LW 18 -5 Bourque was the healthy scratch on Saturday. He will be back in the lineup with the injuries to Fisher and Hendricks. Needs to use this time to turn his game around.  Filip Forsberg LW 19 -10 Forsberg was a healthy scratch Thursday. Same as Bourque - use the playing time from the injuries to prove yourself.  Viktor Stalberg LW 20 -1 You know what - they should do an "underperforming" line of Bourque - Forsberg - Stalberg. The best looking player stays on the active roster.  Rich Clune RW 21 0 Clune "came to the aid" of Josi after a big hit against LA and took a game misconduct to boot. He'll be in the line up the next few games as well I think.  Magnus Hellberg G 22 0 The next back to back game for the Preds is on November 15th - so if Hellberg wants to get in before that he will have to rely on further questionable play be Hutton.  Victor Bartley D 23 -5 Bartley has been a healthy scratch since Josi's return and I don't think there is much reason for that to change. I wonder if they will consider sending him to Milwaukee or run with 7 D.  Pekka Rinne G 24   IR for 4 weeks minimum.
