The Predators rallied for yet another late comeback Tuesday night to defeat the Washington Capitals 3-1. A little more than a week ago, Nashville erased a two-goal third-period deficit to beat San Jose on the road. In this game, the Predators scored three unanswered goals after a late score by Washington put the Capitals ahead 1-0 with less than five minutes to play.
"Zero-zero with five minutes left -- both teams were getting chances and the goalies were playing good. It was one of those things where they get one and we get one right back," center Mike Fisher said. "We were hungry on that second one -- it was a huge goal to get us the lead and that was it. It was a big character win for us against a really good hockey team."
