Nashville, Tenn. (December 2, 2011) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that defenseman Teemu Laakso has cleared waivers and been assigned to Milwaukee (AHL).Laakso, 24 (8/27/87), played nine games for the Predators this season, going pointless and posting eight penalty minutes while averaging 11:26 per game.

In what could have been the wildest game of the year so far, hands down, Nashville had a 3-1 lead after the first, went down 5-3 in the second before tying it, and scored the game winning goal with 76 seconds left in the third (in which they were dominated the whole period).
