There has been a plethora of questions surrounding the Sharks' leadership situation. People are wondering if and when the captain's "C" will be peeled off the jersey of Patrick Marleau and to whom the insignia will be given to instead. In addition to these swirling rumors, former San Jose Sharks' alternate captain and free agent, Mike Grier will not be returning to the club this season. With so much focus and speculation on who San Jose's captain is going to be next season, I thought it might be fun to look at the team's options for alternate captain as well.
