Prospects for the Phoenix Coyotes

The future for the Phoenix Coyotes is very bright. With four players ranked in the top 50 of The Hockey News Prospects (Peter Mueller, Martin Hanzal, Keith Yandle, Blake Wheeler) and adding Kyle Turris to the mix, when these players mature, the franchise looks very solid. Peter Mueller will probably make the team this season whereas Wheeler and Turris will spend a year or two playing for their respective schools (Wheeler at the University of Minnesota and Turris at the University of Wisconsin). The Coyotes development system just became stronger and deeper.
