Just over halfway through the first period during the Providence Friars-Boston College Eagles hockey game, Providence goalie Jon Gillies made this jaw dropping save.  The puck was dumped in by Boston College and took a funny bounce off the boards.  Gillies who had gone out to play the puck, left Brendan Silk with a completely wide-open net when the puck magically ended up on his stick.  Gillies made a desperation diving save across the net and the puck went off his stick.  The #20 ranked Friars would go on to beat the #4 Eagles 5-1 on Saturday night, and it seems as though Gillies miraculous save sparked their win. ACC Network Graphic puts Mexico at #14 in AP Poll

It appears the ACC Network graphics crew was either asleep at the wheel during their broadcast of the Boston College-Virginia basketball game.  New Mexico is currently ranked #14 in the AP Poll so the mistake wasn’t too horrible, but embarrassing nonetheless.  Boston College beat Virginia 53-52.
