Radim Vrbata will be a free agent after this season, and the Coyotes will have to way the pros and cons of keeping the 8 year veteran.

Since Vrbata was drafted in 1999 by Colorado, he has played for the Avalanche, Hurricanes, Blackhawks, Lightening, and Coyotes. He has amassed 148 career goals and 175 career assists. His work on the power play is a great asset on any team, as Vrbata has 52 power play goals and 54 power play assists in his career. This year, Vrbata contributed 19 goals and had 29 assists.

Vrbata’s 3 year $9 million contract will be up this summer and the Coyotes will have to consider resigning him. Vrbata, who scored 2 goals and had 3 assists in the playoffs, was on of the bright spots for the Coyotes in the post season. I say resign him.
