Just a quick update to yesterday's post—Randy Jones has indeed been placed on waivers by the Flyers, so says Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly.com. 

There's talk that the Rangers might be interested in him, but they too are up against the cap. We'll update the story when we find out whether Jones clears or is claimed.
